The Centre for Digital Education Futures (CENDEF) at Open University Malaysia hosts a number of fellowships and affiliated appointments that bring scholars, practitioners, and emerging researchers into intellectual exchange with the Centre and the wider OUM community. Together, these initiatives help shape critical debates in open, distance, and digital education and generate new thinking about the futures of education.

CENDEF’s fellowships include structured programmes such as the flagship Global Fellowship and the Southeast Asian Fellowship, which support focused engagement around specific themes. In addition, the Centre appoints individual Fellows whose work aligns with its intellectual agenda and who contribute through dialogue, collaboration, and exchange.

Appointments may take different forms, reflecting different stages of experience and modes of engagement.
